2015 BASC Awards

This year all the youth and junior awards were presented at the BASC Annual Dinner. Most recipients took part in panels at the Saturday afternoon events which gave BASC members an insight into the views and ambitions of up-and-coming athletes.

Adam Hague

Pole vaulter Adam Hague is a superb talent and thoroughly deserved his award of the Ron Jewkes Trophy.

The trophy is awarded for the best male Championship performance by a junior athlete (18-19 years old on 31 December in the year of competition). The British Junior pole vault record holder (5.60m) took the gold medal at the European Junior Championship in Ekilstuna with a jump of 5.50m. He is a fearless competitor who also won the Indoor National U20 Championships.
